School Food Options
At Hastin International School, we recognise the importance of proper nutrition for our students' well-being and academic success. We offer several dining options while acknowledging that families with specific religious or cultural dietary requirements may prefer to provide meals from home.
Important Note: All parents must inform the school of any food allergies or intolerances before their child's first day. Please complete and submit our Food Allergy Form during enrolment to ensure your child's safety.
Pre-Nursery to Year 1
- School meal plan is mandatory (5,000 baht per term)
- Includes nutritionally balanced lunch
- Specially designed menus appropriate for young children
- Parents with specific religious dietary requirements should provide meals from home
- Parents should prepare healthy snacks and milk as needed
- Please discuss any specific dietary requirements with our Early Years team
Year 2-6
Choose from these options:
1. School Meal Plan
- Nutritionally balanced lunches prepared by our catering team
- Cost: 6,000 baht per term
- Can accommodate vegetarian options and common food allergies
- Parents should prepare healthy snacks and milk as needed
Note: For religious dietary requirements (Halal, Kosher, etc.), we recommend bringing meals from home
2. Home-Packed Meals
- Students are welcome to bring their own meals from home
- Recommended option for families with specific religious or cultural dietary needs
- Please ensure meals are packed in appropriate containers
- Microwave facilities are available for reheating
- We encourage healthy, balanced meal choices
3. Canteen Service
- A variety of fresh food options available for purchase
- Students can buy meals using their student ID card
- Healthy options include hot meals, sandwiches, and salads
- Supervised by staff to assist younger students
Secondary Students (Year 7-9)
The same options as Primary students with a lunch meal plan cost 6,500 baht per term
Safety First: Our kitchen maintains strict protocols regarding food allergies and cross-contamination. However, for your child's safety, it is essential that all allergies are properly documented and communicated to the school before attendance begins.
