Admission Process

At Hastin International School, we believe every child brings unique gifts and perspectives to our vibrant learning community. Our admission process is a journey we take together with families, providing guidance and support at every step. We look forward to getting to know your child and helping you discover how they can thrive in our dynamic educational environment.

Age Guidelines and Placement

Hastin International School follows the British curriculum structure with the following age guidelines:

Academic Structure

  • Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): Ages 2-5
  • Key Stage 1 (KS1): Ages 5-7
  • Key Stage 2 (KS2): Ages 7-11
  • Key Stage 3 (KS3): Ages 11-14

Placement Assessment

Our comprehensive assessment process, rather than age alone, determines student placement. All prospective students are required to:

  • Complete an onsite assessment in core subjects
  • Participate in a personal interaction session
  • Provide previous academic records

The final year group placement will be based on:

  • Assessment results
  • Previous academic performance
  • Social and emotional maturity
  • English language proficiency (where applicable)

Note: While age is considered, the school reserves the right to recommend appropriate year group placement based on assessment outcomes to ensure each student's academic success.
